Prius 2012 Trip Summary

I have a Prius 2012 model and bought one year back as recon car. recently i have a problem when it displays the trip summary. It give an error message at the time of displaying the trip summary.

summary just appear a second and it display below message thereafter and disappear in few seconds. Also this message display only if i travel a long distance, like 10-15km or more. for short distance, it shows the summary as usual (like 5-6km or below distance) If anyone knows what this message and how to rectify it or from where i can fix this, pls let me know.

That message says "key battery remaining is less" in Japanese 'ki batteri nokori wazuka'.

My guess is after a while the key's signal drops so it gives the error.
