If you do find one, please note that the mileage you see will not be the correct one. It is easier than farting in a pool to change the mileage.

Mine had '145000' when I bought it... A*W records showed a whopping 453000 at their last service which was 3 years before I bought it in 2007. The reason I unloaded mine was after another 3 years of use, it started to burn off to much oil and I was not in the mood or emotionally attached to that car that much to rebuild the engine.

The tampering with the Odo meter now is at plague level and it is really sad to see than even seemingly decent people who claim to be doctors or lawyers or even senior bank executives ask their local maka baas to change the clock before slapping on some 'sale paint' and selling the car as a low mileage 'Doctor driven' car.

Wow. The bloody check of it knocking 300k off the odometer just like that!

I was just at a car place the other day where the sales guy told me that 'digital meters' can't be rolled back or tampered with and seemed stunned when I told him that it was even easier now the meters were digital as one didn't have to mess about under the hood. The bugger looked genuinely taken aback and continued with his: "No-No-No. Its impossible. Only on old non-digital odometer meters do you have to worry about tampering."

The dude is either the most naive car salesman on the planet or has some mad acting skills! Either way he's in the wrong profession!

The SR20 can run forever if looked after well. 500,000kms is not unheard of. The US G20 forums are full of such cars.

Did a quick search on autotrader(dot)com: Wow! Lots of choice there. I didn't know suddha buggers appreciated nice Japanese cars back then, I mean these cars are almost 15 years old and some of them (judging by the pictures) are in pretty good cosmetic condition.

I'm impressed! suddha buggers are driving something that doesn't have 5L of nothingness and a live rear axle in the back for a change!
