Bent Chasis Straightening

offroad12

Question

Hi Guys,

I have an old Land cruiser which has a bent chasis. I need advice on the best way to straighten it out and the cost involved with it. The previous owner had met with an accident in the front and it has not been fixed up to standards. Because of this the body is also slightly crooked. FYI this is a "body on frame" vehicle not unibody.

Also any other information that can be provided to me on this matter is appreciated. If you need more info feel free to ask.

Hi @offroad12

With regards to your concern there was a place in SL where they do accident repairs as per the manufacture spec.. without harming the strength of the metal.. Go to Youtube and search for Sukkanama.. If possible please watch last month episodes you will get the contact details there.. I can't remember the place or the name properly..

Hope this helps you.
