I have a honda fit gp5 done only 34000km. Irecently found out a samall oil leak at the bottom of the gear box.could any one explain the reason behind this.also there is a small hall in the middle of the gear box.i could see the bearings of the connecting leaver through this hall.. does anyone knows the purpose of that. Image

Have you noticed any warning signs in the dashboard during heavy traffic or hills? Is it bit sluggish to drive recently?. Anyway take it to Stafford and get their opinion on this. Leaking oil from DC box is not a good sign.

That's a drain for your transmission. It's supposed to be there. What you found was most probably water mixed with oil. Check your transmission fluid level, if there's on drop then forget it.

Thanks for your help guys. Thre is no i ndication on dashboard.but there is a lag when gears are shifting.may be im bit over concerned now. Ill chek with stafford and post the findings here.
