Can I refill battery water for the coolant?

I am new to automobile. I am sorry if my questions is too bad.

My Coolant level of the car has gone a little down, and some of my friends says to fill Battery Water to it, and no need to fill the exact coolant. Is it okay to do so?

Car Model: Suzuki Estilo, YOM: 2010

Make sure you use only distilled water though.
