The harder, pleasurable and cheaper way: Take a holiday in Colombo and spend some time walking around the yards that have old engines. It will help if you have a Sinhala/Tamil speaking friend.

I remember someone called "Kuruppu" had many cars for parts and even I saw the yard years ago. I mentioned it in an old thread but now I cannot recall it. Check with member @MasterDon too.

@Sampath Gunasekera the name suggests the guy is from India. So 'Panchikawatta' might not be clear to him.
