Prius battery issue

Recently i got message on display of prius 3rdgen (2013)  shows that 

 

Replacement battery (For starting "insufficient charge Please check the handling form

Is it regarding 12 v battery or hybrid battery????

strange.. The Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) is not cranked by the 12V battery like a typical automobile. Instead, the engine computer uses power from the Hi-voltage battery to spin motor-generators MG1 and/or MG2 to get things moving. So the error code should be for the Hi-voltage batter.

the error sounds peculiar, did you use a translator? Can you post the original message/P-Code in Japanese?

it seems in the Prius, the 2nd battery (in the trunk) is used to supply in car equipment and to initialize the main hybrid System. It gets discharged during long time parking and can be recharged ONLY when the wheels are turning and regenerative braking(not just by idling like normal cars!). You can speed up the battery recovery by driving with the gear lever on the " B" position, it seems.

yeah 始動 means "First movement", but in this case its tricky because it is not about physical movement but INITIATION of the system.
