Vehicle Upgrade

Hi guys,

I'm planning to upgrade to SUV range, where currently i'm driving a B15. my max budget would be 4.5 Mn.

Could you advice or suggest best possible options?

For your budget you will be looking at RAV4s, CRVs, Xtrails from around the mid (to slightly later) 2000s. So the 3rd generation RAV4 and CRV and the 2nd generation XTrail. However, if you go for a Vitara you can get a newer vehicle for around the same price as an older RAV4/CRV/XTrail (e.g. there are 2011-2013 Vitara/Escudos advertised right now...most of which were agent imports under govt. permits for the same price as 2006/2007 RAV4s). COnsidering you should save some money for some mandatory maintenance work as soon as you buy the car...unless you ahve some extra money stored away in addition to your 4.5mil, it means the budget to actually buy the car would be around 4.2-4.3 mil so you might have to look a bit a older as well.

To be honest the Vitara is far more offroad capable than the others....and aside from the Vitara and the RAV4 the others look like overgrown station wagons. I don't know much about Koreans but I suppose you could find a SOrento or Santa Fe or soemthing of the sort around the same age as the Vitara with your price bracket.
