I once tried US for the alternator for CE91 which means Toyota 1C engine alternator.. price was 20k .. i managed to re-windup the alternator for 5k and with a warranty .. again from famous P*la *uto

Thanks bro's , Smeegol and harshansenadhir 4 da replies.. really appreciate it..

checked delkanda but all they had was da cut off suspension parts of da 2wd CR27 which is da 2wd version of da 4WD CR36.. seems dat da upper arms and lower arms are much more bigger dan da CR27 in da 4WD version.. so guys im basically stuck hehehe

By da way I got stuck at moratuwa y'day under 2feet of water... da air cleaner compartment was full of water and y'day tool out da heater plugs and turned da engine manually to take out da water... thankfully da buddy started after pushing it around for a while after da water was removed !!!! wrking fine now :alc:

Hint: although da townace suspension is a bit high the air intake is jst under da number plate.... take off the air cleaner cover with da tube and leave it aside when going in water.. dat wud then not out da water dat gets sucked in to da air intake

we had 2 town aces CR26 and 27, with both we went on flooded colombo and matugama area roads and we knew this trick.. and with CR26 there was an additional opening in the air cleaner compartment to suck air if the lower line is blocked.. to add .. if you can hear the radiator fan runs under water, better to stop and remove the lower air line...

Rs 14000 . (dats how i got to know of the delkanda joints)

hey how does the Sri Lankan "market" go for the CR41 ?..

Is it high demand for: flat roof- four door / high roof-5 door.. u know the crap :)

example: CR27 - "high" demand for 4door-flat roof = but it is hot as a F#ckin oven with the roof so low..

any views on this guys ?

Its like this machan... all this "market" categories are only applicable to Sri lanka coz lot of them does not make any sense, while some do..

the way it works is the factors for the market is : high or low roof, 5door or 4 doors, DX GL ot Just Low, 4WD ot 2WD,

In addition there are minor considerations such as dual ac, full seats etc.. whcih work on top of the major considerations.

High Roof / Low Roof: The market comes down a bit when it is a high roof. But this does not make any sense as a high roof is much more suited for high temp sitations in sl and is nore good looking for CR27's

5doors / 4 doors: funnily the perception is that when it is a 5 door (sliding doors on bith sides) the strength of the vehicle goes down!!!!!!!, which has no sense at all :D

DX / GL / Just Low: this is one of the rare valid points :) This is the grading which comes for vans:)

DX version CR27 comes with entry level seats (no adjustable headrests even in the front) and a basic seat at the back. Furthermore the hood upholstery is also basic where the hood linings can be seen as well as the side door groove bends. (these are covered in the GL version)

GL Version comes with full seats with adjustable headrests and a much more better back seat although with no headrests. furthermore it has a nice hood make of a cool material which comes down upto the level of the side doors.. and no visible hood rails as in the DX bersion. also come with partial central locking for the rear 3 doors. Also there is gas shocks for the front suspension and velvet carpets out of the factory. :)

Just low is a basic DXversion with the major difference being the realr end being a bit higher so that the two wheel guards does not protrude fron the inside, so there is more room for goods etc..

4WD comes with optional 4WD whic could be electrinically engaged or manually by turnung the hubs...

So the market depends on the combination of all these factors ..
