I am planning to buy Ford echosport 2017 titanium  car.

Please advice me if there are any technical issue s or performance issues with this vehicle.

Guessing it's a brand new import?

So Indian made 1.5 L petrol? 

Is it a manual or an automatic?

If it's the latter made sure it isn't the DCT - if it's the PowerShift transmission, walk away - the DCT's are disaster

no! this is a used one and have done 28,000km. petrol 1.5L. automatic.

Agent imported Fords with 1l ecoboost engines come with 6 speed torque converter gear box. They do not offer power shift DCT to Sri Lanka.  If it is a grey imported one from the UK, it can have DCT

This sounds like a B/N import 1.5 automatic, which has a conventional auto gearbox. But are you sure its 1.5? I thought Ford imported 1 litre Ecosports during this time due to low taxes.

I also recall Ecosport coming with 5-year warranty those days. Ask the agent whether warranty is transferable. Also ask them whether you can pay and extend the warranty to 5 years (if it only came with a 3-year warranty). You might spend around 100k out of pocket but it might be worth it.

Ecosport is just an average car (or a jip, if you like to call it that). No major known issues from what I know. Not like the 2012-2014 Focus.

Is it 6 speed automatic gearbox?

If it is 1.5, then most probably it has a conventional gear box but better to check with the agent
