Urgent Please: Is Mitsubishi Lancer CS2 worth 2.5 million at the current market?

The current owner is the 6th owner, he has taken good care of the vehicle. The best price he's offering is 2.55 million. Is it a fair price? I saw some posts on Riyasewana with lower price tags; hence this question. s

No.

 

1. Too many owners for a car that old. Plenty with 2nd and 3rd owners.

2. CS2 has a 1500 GDI Engine. They were trouble in the pajero/montero etc. Unwanted hassle because the CS3 1600 EFI can be bought for similar money. Also GDI vehicles have a bad “market”.

3. Again, CS3 is around the same price. More power/economical and well sought after.

4. 2002 is the pre-facelift if I’m not mistaken, you can buy a facelift for the same money.

This may be the 6th registered owner. Actual number of owners may be even higher. Better not to buy it.

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate your responses. I hired Greasemonkey for an inspection; found out too many faults which will need require a few visits to the mechanic. Since its my first car, I decided to decline the offer and look for another model.  @Dhaham, @Twin Turbo, @fiat fan
