Seat belt indicator showing in corolla 110

front two seat belt were correctly connected but seat belt indicator in dashboard shows seat belt are not connected. 

What could be the  reason ?

Well....the most common reason is the ribbon cable on the steering wheel/column going bad. So you take it to a garage they are probably going to get you to replace this before anything else.

From there onwards it could be anything from the switches on the seat belt latches to one of the sensors to the airbag itself going bad.
