Toyota Raize- issue with Bluetooth phonebook

Dear All,

 

I am driving a Toyota 2020 Raize.

I synced my phone via Bluetooth to make Bluetooth calls.

However, when I get a call from a known saved number, it always says "unknown number", in the car screen.

 

I previously used to have a Peugeot 3008 and it always saved the numbers forever, and I used to know who's calling.

 

Is there anyway around this? Am I doing something wrong?

This might not be the cas with you but, it could be that it gets confussed with the phone number format as in my case.

In my Yaris the phone numbers are stored with country code- phone number (eg. +81-80-6666-5555). However when a call comes the number gets registered as (0-80-6666-5555). As a result the car does not recognize the number.
