Man very few Standard Cars can come close to a City on our roads..... I remember this time where our 300- Manual City left a ministers Petrol Prado the rest of his defenders to eat our dust on Galle Road from Panadura to Moratuwa.......

I checked the wikipedia link pila gave.. the Jap variants of M3 is quite underpowered.. more like a AE110! hey zeem.. would yours be a Jap ver? the car stil rocks.. hel.. itz a Mazda 3 ! lol

hey i usually drag under safe conditions datz y i said greenpath.. in night(possibly) ... if u drag in GP u only risk ur own life... (at least during nights under normal conditions) u also said u hit 160 odd summin in GP right.

bdw i aint gonna go man tranny (tho i hd planned to do so this june) i'd hold back and strait away go for evo conversion... datz a long time from now... 1st comes studies...

yah there are some suvs that can leave the city trailess... afterall city is intended to be jst an econobox... but witin econoboxes it kick ass other normal 2L kinda suv's and sometimes even bit bigger ones.

No, neither the Mazda 3 nor the Miata come with a rotary engine! If either of them did, I think the novelty of the RXs would be lost!

Does the 2.3L version of the 3 come to the asian market? It seems like a decently powered car...I especially like that engine combined with the wagon/5door body style..for some reason I think it looks a lot better than the sedan.

High Body Rigidity and Specially Tuned Chasis

Like the 2007 Mazda 3, the new Mazdaspeed3 features a body with increased rigidity. The Mazdaspeed version is based on the Mazda 3 5-Door hatchback, with local reinforcements added to produce a body sufficiently stiff to stand up to the demands of 263 horsepower. Suspension and brakes have also been specially tuned.

Body rigidity has been increased through several measures, including a reinforced front cowl that is joined directly to the top section of the front damper mount, assuring the same rigidity as a car fitted with a strut tower bar (which would not have been possible because of the placement of the intercooler above the engine). This prevents deformation of the front suspension towers under cornering load and maintains correct suspension geometry.

Mazdaspeed3 's styling pursues a look of strength and solidity in a design that conveys the car's dynamic performance. Its form is characterized by boldly flared front fenders and effective use of strong edges on the hood. spot on Dims - that 2.3L engine is excellent - revs well n é even power at low revs is quite commendable - all in all its a smooth runner....é Mazda3 isnt a very heavy car either so this motor running would give it a pukka power to weight ratio!

Do have lot of ways to modify the Mazda 3. But in Sri Lanka Practicality is a Issue, I had Suspension and Body Kit and the Wheels Done with the HOOD in black Combination,

someone i know had é TV chipped n é dvd as well - but é guy who did it - famous as he is has got some bad press on occasion - so dunno whether to reccomend or not

Bose some pretty good quality speakers man... why not try the famed audio outlets cuz i think there outta be a mod kit for the headunit and stuf inside the m3..

as for your grill n stuff.. why the hurry? take it a bit slow.. the car looks awesome as it is right now.. save up the cash n go for a mazdaspeed kit hopefully..
