Anyway I do see a crumple in the the front cabin roof. Are there any side pics? I don't know what to make of this. Is it safe? Or not? It doesn't matter howbad the front collapsed, all depends on how well the cabin survived. Edited March 17, 2008 by madmax

The windscreen looks to be intact madmax though the front is in very bad shape. Its a good indicator that the front crumple zone has worked very well. The passengers should have been able to walk away from this accident if they were wearing their seat belts. In my opinion this accident shows the Rexton is a well made car. Thanks for the posts Kulunu It looked kind of weird to have such a head on collision. Since you saw this first had what is your opinion on the safety of the Rexton? Was the dashboard intact? Di it intrude into cabin? Also there seems to be blood on the air bag? Edited March 17, 2008 by madmax

I was thinking repairs will be covered by warranty for 2 years. Micro bragged about service being prompt and gave an example as how they maintain all the Renault trucks. I guess that is mostly marketing. The permit one doesn't have the sunroof or the privacy glass. The rest is the same. Cost is close to 5 Mil. However it'll be a 2008 model. I would like to have a chat with you if you can share your email or phone number. Edited March 17, 2008 by madmax
Kulunu
yes,my father's..It was a good vehicle.Comfortable.Superb fast.more than 160kmph is pretty simply. Foul consumption will be 7.5 -9 depends on speed. It has passed warrenty period >47,000Km. Insurance will condemn the vehicle. Is there much difference in 2007 and 2008 model? email:vkulunu@gmail.com madmax said: What was the speed this crash occurred? Is this one yours? How reliable has it been overall?
