Don't get me wrong there's a lot of beautiful super nippy hatchbacks out there like the z4 , the Alfa 145 and the Golf GTI but the new Subaru sti isn't one of them. Despite Subaru's claims that the new hatchback design improves handling I think it looks dull and think the older Sti was way better looking. most purists do favour the older Sti body style & the Alfa 147 is certainly far easier on the eyes (hate to nitpick, but the Z4 isn't hatch but a roadster and the hardtop varients would there by be considered coupes )
Devinda_Z
Subaru Impreza sets Nurburgring record The World's quickest saloon is the Subaru Impreza WRX STI, judging by its Nurburgring lap time Text: Stephen Dobie / Photos: autoblog.com 09th June 2010 Quote The Subaru Impreza WRX STI – the quickest saloon in the world. That’s the claim, after the four-door version of the new-school Impreza set a new record at the Nurburgring. A mightily impressive claimed 7min55sec lap-time around the Ring’s Nordschleife (North Loop) puts the STI ahead of the previous saloon record holder, the Cadillac CTS-V. The American boasts a 6.2-litre V8 engine over three times the size of the Japanese-spec Subaru’s 2-litre flat-four, but transfers its 556bhp to the track via its rear wheels only. The Impreza is all-wheel drive. The STI was piloted by four-time World Rally Champion and former Mitsubishi and Subaru WRC driver Tommi Makinen. The car deviates slightly from standard, with the the larger turbocharger and six-pot brake calipers from the Impreza R205 edition and aluminium bonnet from the STI Spec C, plus the usual safety necessities for track work. All of this may leave UK Impreza fans cold, though. Since the car’s relaunch a couple of years ago there’s only been a five-door hatchback for the UK, a situation that’s unlikely to change. Watch the video the car’s lap below to see what you’re missing… Source : http://www.evo.co.uk/news/evonews/252961/s...be071e40617aa96

The run began after he was given the ok to proceed. Lucky for him it was on a straight. Could have seen -from all angles - with so many cameras on board - the outcome if the truck was on a bend. The clicking was actually astonishing - never expected that

Z.u.L
was checking the Japanese subaru site. both the hatchback and sedan sti`s are available. didnt compare the price but theres something called an a-line which has no spoiler and has a 5speed semi-automatic gearbox. competition for the evo X i guess. but im not sure whether this is the sti 11 cuz its just the sedan version of the sti 10(hatchback) since both cars are available on the site.
