Mitsubishi J22 Has Been Stolen Yesterday!

J22 that was belong to one of my friends has been stolen yesterday at around 3am. Description of the vehicle are as follow:

Color: Mat Black

Open Top

4DR6 Engine

Brown colored Alloys

this J22 which has been participated to the LROC Super Cross event which held recently. below are some photos taken from the rally it self for reference. please be kind enough to inform if you got to know any news on this or see it!

it was stolen when it was parked near IDH, Gothatuwa New Town.

This is very worrying,

I think if there are thieves operating, its best investing on an alarm system for any car which cannot be parked inside a garage or an enclosed lockable area,

very sorry to hear about your friend man, I really do feel for him ..

Thats a notorious area dude.. and even installing alarms would not be enough.. have heard of some thieves been able to counter the alarm too.. the vehicle is very noticeable considering the size of the tyres so I guess that might help in finding out where it is. Prob is lately that stolen vehicles are practically instantly taken towards the vanni or northern areas where it would then disappear for good.

A specialist rig like that will surely be parted out because otherwise it'll attract too much attention. I'd cast an eye of suspicion on the off-roading community and keep an eye out for J22 parts showing up in odd places.
