Faw - Prado Look-a-like

Heya! Whats the market price of the FAW Prado-like SUV? I'm by no means a fan, but was just wondering how cheap it is over the 'original'.

FYI - FAW is one of China's biggest automobile manufactures (First Automobile Works). Colloborating with VW, Toyota and Mazda they're turning out products for the Asian markets. [sadly?] They seem to be catching on in our li'l island as well...

Btw they've got a luxury car called the Besturn (Getit? Best-urn). Exactly... Lol. Oh, for branding...

It was launched at around 4 million for a 2WD version with engine in the range of 2200cc.

I have just looked at it while parked and not driven it. The interior is typical Chinese car and it look like a Prado only from the frontal view (Rear looks like a ripoff of a Sorento or something.). On the other hand they have the exact version of the older model Prado in left hand drive

I would put my money on the locally assembled Koreans with the diesel power plants.

And like most of the Chinese Look-Alike vehicles, the only similarity to the original is the appearance. It's completely different in terms of Components and Engineering and more importantly - SAFETY. Most of them crumple like cardboard on even a minor impact.
