its normal that you get 9KM/L in the long runs since these cars are made to to be driven on high ways at high speeds.anyway one cool ride bro. people who have driven these cars claim that they are so much faster than any SUV,sometimes sport cars, they have ever driven..how's you r experience? 4.7L V8 huh....you'll cross SL before you get it to max revs in top gear:d

well yeah, that was about the nearest you'd get to american highway conditions in SL.... long straight and empty stretch of road somewhere in the anuradhapura area, we sat at 100-120 for about three quarters of an hour..... that would be about 70MPH, so its right in the zone of highway speeds..... which apparently is where the thing consumes the least fuel.... and yes, even at those speeds.... the engine was turning over just under 2000 Rpm in top.... ;)

and in reply to your other question machan, yes, D*mo's do reccomend using 90 octane fuel...... as dilesh mentioned, its because the octane grades available in the US of A are suprisingly low.... it works out pretty well for us because some places we visit rarely have even 90 octane petrol.... much less 95!!

finally... and silver was a wise choice :) 9km/l is very impressive too... when do we get a ride??

yeah about time neda? :)... you're right machan we almost got black but then figured that if were gonna use it for work, that'd screw up the paint quickly.... so silver it was! and that turned out ok..... i shall try n bring it to the next AL do perhaps
