Opinions on corolla 2/windy

Im highly interested in buying a corolla 2 with making it a project car in the future.until such time im hoping to daily drive. Is it good for a daily car?regarding spare parts and repairs

Again...you are looking at a 30+ year old car. Whether it is dependable and reliable NOW is totally dependent on the condition of the car RIGHT NOW (i.e. how have the past owners taken care of them). Mind you...cars like these (Corollas, Sunnies, etc..) were owned by average folk looking for a cheap, reliable, decent ride. So, at some point in its life, the car would have had corners cut when it comes to maintenance and repairs. The blessing and curse of these vehicles is that even with oil leaking and components falling off they keep running.

So be prepared to deal with 30 years of use which may be at differing levels depending on the car you end up buying.

If properly maintained,these are good little reliable cars.
