Athila Weerasinghe
Hi all! We’ve been driving a 2016 manufactured new facelift Toyota Premio since 2017 and are now looking to upgrade to a European car without adding extra money. I'm considering a Toyota Crown 2008/2009 Hybrid, Mercedes W212 E200, or an Audi. Fuel consumption (not Prius like numbers but between 9-15) and maintenance costs are my top priorities, and I’m not too worried about resale value. Any advice on which might be the best option or tips on what to expect with these models? Cheers! kush
Stick to your Premio You will be able to achieve the expected economy from a hybrid or a diesel. Maintenance will be at another level from the Premio

They find the seats and ride too firm, don't like the cabin noise, etc... The Premio is an underwhelming car and is not the God's gift to humanity Lankans make it out to be, but Toyota did get a lot of things right with that car for what it is supposed to be. A Crown would be similar to the Premio in many ways but then you are going for an old Hybrid that is rare, so it can be costly.
alpha17
Stick with your Premio, else get the Crown keeping aside money for any battery replacements and running repairs like suspension components.
