Renting out your car for some extra cash

Hi everyone, I am thinking of renting out our car that is not used daily for some extra income. 
I don’t plan to do this as a main business rather to cover expenses and some additional income. 
Any places that you can trust ? ( I know good places don’t offer the best prices) 

vehicle I have sold my previous car and considering between Wagon R/Axia(hatchback)/Fronx. ( I am open to suggestions). 
 

i would like to hear about recommendations/advice/stories.

I would say just don't. No matter which place you give it to the car is going to get hacked as it is driven by randos. The sad truth about most Lankans is "if it is not mine I don't give a damn". Same applies to most of the drivers you hire as well. Unless you do this in the long term and consistently, my guess is whatever you earn (or maybe even more) will be spent on fixing up repairs and tidying up the car upon return. Even the best paying, reputed companies will only just keep the car clean and tidy looking but mechanically they just do quick fix-ups and transfer everything to you. How well the car will be used is also not guaranteed as it is dependant on who is renting it.

If someone you really, really know and you know is a decent caring person and friend, then rent it out to them. Alternatively, you can see if you can rent it out with a driver (someone you have known for a while and actually loves the car as much as you do and takes pride in his/her work), then that might be an option but for the short-term, informal approach you are taking that too might be not viable.

Apart from mal**y and ca**** (both of whom who own their cars), every rental car I have driven has been utter garbage (worn out suspension, hubs worn out, grinding brakes, steering wheels with play (and these were cars with EPS) and the list goes on.
