I decided to treat myself to a LATE birthday present in September by going to watch Singapore F1... I called them up today to ask about tickets.. the cheapest they have is S$168....and that too is just to stand on the roadside and watch it... and how do the phrase it "whenever you want you can go stand somewhere else and watch the race so that you can get a fresh perspective" talk about marketing :D

Any of you planning on coming this way to see it?

i had feeling you would given your proximity to it!!

yup planning on coming :) - trying to sort out logistics

its a tad hard to plan out for something thats 6 months away! :mellow:

you'd better start planning fast.. some hotels that are clost to the track are already sold out... and word here is the rest of the hotels too will be jacking up prices for the season, and pretty sure they'll still be fully booked... If you dont mind sleeping in a sleeping-bag you can always bunk in with me for free for those few days :) so logistics on this end settled :)

that would be awesome machan! :D

the plan is to fly in on saturday night or Sunday morning in time for the morning runs and then fly out early monday morning after the race

But i most certainly will take you up on your offer if i'll be around long enough to require sleep :)

i hope you wouldn't mind the imposition in the form of a drop by to freshen up prior to the race? :)
