i checked around about this sludge issue and apparently it's a known issue in toyotas but usually they are on cars that have done close to 100k or even more. the solution is frequent oil changes.

Agreed. Its always a best option for any car specially in SL.

I was told by a expert that this problem does not appear in ALLIONS and IST though these models also have got same VVTi engine.

Any reason for this and any comments please.
