Well the Jag is a E segment car so it's more a 5 series and E class rival. I understand that the X type will not be replaced.....any news on this?

well on that basis itself i guess the XF would have to cover space vacated by the X & S types - so the SV8's positioning as a sports sedan would put it in contention with both categories :unsure:

But i think there was some talk about a heavily tuned varient of the XF which would replace the SV8 as the range topper which would we released after the model has managed to settle in and capture a steady market
