Hi Guys

Just wondering.. are there any garages in Sri Lanka who'd be willing to do a professional inspection of a vehicle pre-purchase?

How about the agents? Do local agents do that?

thanks!!

Agents of premium brands like Mercedes (D*MO) and BMW (Prestige) will do an inspection on request. Also you can obtain a record of the car's service history.

Yes most of the agents do inspections

A*W provides such a service for Nissan Vehicles at a fee of Rs. 1000 ~ 2000. They will provide a status report of all major areas and make notes as to whether any areas require attention etc.

IF the vehicle has been maintained with them , they will be able to provide a report of the service history

As a rule of thumb i feel its best to stick with the agents for inspection of normal vehicles as they are likely to have worked on a number of them and as such know what to look out for.
