Is The Micro Trend A Copy Or Are Micro Exporting It??

i received an e-mail saying some of the dumbest accidents. and i came across this pic,

are micro exporting this car ???

i thnk micro is exportin parts and assembling in SL.....nt much sure....so this car's designer might hav smthng to do with micro....it luks very similar...

well as far as I know the trend is imported in Semi Knock Down form and assembled by Micro. So its not really built by them.

Yes the Trend is a copy. We had the discussion before. Some Chinese thing. I dunno if we export the Trend, tho we did the earlier car.

i've seen a couple of those Chinese ones on the roads... in addition i think there's a Malaysian version too, by Perudo (is that spelt right? the kelissa maker)

I thought everyone knew that Micro Trend/MPV and the new car are all borrowed designs from Hafei. The collaboration is mentioned on the Micro website. But the Micro Econo was an original concept.
