Out Emission Standards Vs Euro Ii

Hello Guys

I have a small problem. I drive a bike (CBR 150) and in the manual it says it complies with EUROII level 4 emission standards.

I searched the net and couldn't find what level 4 means. Also when I searched the net I found out that motorbikes are very bad in their emissions.

I need some help here guys.

It seems that in sl motorbikes and other petrol vehicles has different standards. Is this the same in European countries? (Hay Maithri, I would really appreciate your input in this)

Our standards are shown below

Petrol vehicle--------------------------------------3.0-----------------------------------------1000

motor cycles & motor tricycles------------------4.0-----------------------------------------6000----------------(Both Idling and 2500RPM/ no load)

% v/v - Percent by volume----------ppm v/v - Parts per million by volume

Can anyone compare these with the EURO standards?

Machang are you sure about the above vehicle figures? In my VET certificate the standard was given as 4.5CO and HC 1200
