whoever did it has to be a brain surgeon. how can you replace the engine of a car with such advanced electronics and piggyback them so everything still works? amazing!

that's what I've been thinking through this thread.. it's not like the old days where u could just transplant an engine from a different manufacturer.. even tho this is a 99 S80, there was still fairly complex electronics, not to mention the wiring loom customisation, and ECU - as the ecu would've controlled parts of the cars body/integrated functions too!! I'm surprised the car runs well given the nature and amount of the work involved to put a toyota engine into a volvo!!! Surely resale would be pretty much rooted now?
