Dashboard/meter Interface Led Bulbs

Anyone have an idea regarding "LED dashboard lighting (12v LEDs)" ? Where is the place to buy that ?

If I fix these bulbs, any drawbacks ? Please refer the following URL....

Thanks, I have already checked. He has only Super White LEDs. I am looking Green Color or Blue Color LEDs...

this Super White LED is lite blue. i used to my car.

Parami why don't you try at Pettah 1st cross street? there are many electronic shops and they might have the verity and colour you are looking for. Better if you can at least get a printout of the light with you. These guys are not good at listening to long explanations about an LED.

If that fails there is always ebay. there are many HongKong based vendors who ship to Sri Lanka for cheap prices.

this Super White LED is lite blue. i used to my car.

When i was checking he has these type of LEDs (http://img206.imageshack.us/my.php?image=autoledbulbsxl9.jpg), but i cant fix this in to my dashboard. my dashboard light & holder model is (http://img212.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dashboardbulbsyp8.jpg). If he have only the LED bulbs pls let me know (without a holder). Because i can replace it in to the holder.

Hi isam, I have tried some places and found only 3v LEDs. but i need 12v LED bulbs for my dashboard. Still couldn't check at Pettah 1st cross street. Will try to find a good one. Thx.

I guess the 3v version is not the one you need. But if the 3v version could be placed there it would require only a small resister to bring the voltage down to 3v from 12v. But I guess the connecting socket is different.

I guess not. In fact they are better. LEDs have larger lifespan (usually 100000hrs if proper input voltage is applied) and draw less current than normal bulbs.

I got my new cluster fixed, it's a simple job. I can help you fix the bulbs, if needed... you can buy the LEDs off ebay.
