Nissan Bluebird

One of my other options for a car is the Nissan Bluebird 1999-2002 model.

I think thats the QU14 model.

Does anyone have any experience with this type of car.

Hows the petrol consumption, spare parts availability and price.

Are spares expensive for this model and also hows the re-sale value.

What might be the price of one of these cars now.

Any help would be appreciated.

Is the U14 similar in price range of the Nissan Cefiro A32.

Has anyone noticed that the front end looks a bit same for these models.

Deos the Cefiro have a bigger capacity engine than than the bluebird.

Our company ran a few U14 cars but sold them off about a year and a half ago after doing a good 200k+. All the cars were auto SR20DE versions with the SSS kit and all that. Same engine as the Primera but slightly different tuning (economical and smoother)

I think you are looking at the 1995-1999 models while the post 2000 models (G10) came in the N16 shape.

Nothing particularly wrong but they do tend to give problems with age and mileage as with any car.

A lot easier and more economical to run and own that the A32 but not as comfortable.

Second hand prices are low so they make good buys used. We sold the fleet for around 9.50-1 mil. Doubt they would have appreciated much over the years.

They used to do about 7 in the city (auto) and around 10 out.

Spares were a plenty a few years back.

What do you think would be the best price to pay for a Bluebird 1999-2001 model.

Thats the u14 model.

Does the bluebird come in 4cylinder and 6 cylinder engines or just 4 cylinder engines.

The cefiro has a 6 cylinder engine i guess.

i think all the cefiro's (A32's &33's) were 6 cyl motors given the VQ (2 , 2.5 & 3L ) engine designation

Can anyone tell me what is the going price for a 1999-2001 Nissan Bluebird U14 model.

I would like to know as this would help me in deciding on what car to get.

Thanks.

I'd Go for a diesel Bluebird (SU14).. couple of known parties got down 'Eprise' version, during last govt permit..(and they are definetely not selling mate.. :) ) ...

have driven both the Bluebird & Cefiro '33'... no major difference in comfort & handling (Personal opinion)

from what I've gathered, Bluebird does around 10 in city and 14 outstation.... which is nearly double the efficiency of the Cefiros...

plus, maintanance cost seems lower in the U14 as well...

Believe the selling price of better maintained U14s will vary between 1.6 - 1.8 Mn..
