Pregnenat Women And Seat Belts

Just curious is it safe for a pregnant lady to wear a seat belt? where is the safest place for some one like that the sit in a car.

Wearing a seat belt is for more safer than not wearing it for any one

For pregnant women, lap portion of the belt should be worn as low as possible across the hips. However drive slowly when there is a pregnant women on board, or during a crash some sad things may happen :angel-smiley-026: ...

I can't imagine some people never wear a seat belt even they doing 100+kmph :action-smiley-060::angry2: . I used to wear it since 1st day of my driving and now I can't even do 10kmph+ without it. :wacko2:

anyways. Miyuru Daminda is right. pregneant women weren't invented with seatbelts in mind. and thats probably the only option you got. and to add something to that its better if she travels in the back seat. but remember thats NOT an excuse not to fasten up.

Really?? the Buckle sits rite in the middle ne? isnt that risky for the baby?

Though the buckle sits near the chest. I dunmo, guess you'll have to see :)

my cousin used a Seat Belt Extender, she got it from the US i think or Ebay

its just a small gadget to extend the overall length of the harness system
