Abt resetting ECU.. just pull out the E.F.I fuse inside the engine compartment or unplugged battery terminals for some period. once you plugged them back and take a test drive, first couple of Kms would feel bit awkward (Engine might act weird).. cos the ECU itself learning the driving patterns start from scratch.

none, unless you have made some change that could affect engine performance, mayb....

resetting ECU can be different to make to make, model to model. in 406, you have to remove the ground wire of the battery and press brake pedal 3 times although leaving it disconnected for sometime might work but it'll impact the radio if it is coded.
