Petrol Octane Level

Guys.. most of the cars should use unleaded petrol.

But here in Sri lanka we use 90 octane (with led), is this good for vehical? Isn't this affect the Smoke test?

When did 90 octane petrol become leaded? Leaded petrol went out of style here 20 years ago...you might be able to find some in Africa though.

I thought they have stoped using it since early 2000 in SL. Correct me if Im wrong.

well i am using 95 octane now, but when i use the 90 octane or the extra premium, the car starts to give the ignition noice when accelerating. any comments why?
