Mani
I had a bad crash in late May and decided to retire from the street and concentrate on track only. Goal is to do as many track days as possible this year and maybe half of next year before making an attempt at getting my racing license. Looking to compete in mostly the regional stuff. Nothing too serious but something fun to keep me occupied. Stripped the bike almost to the frame before building it back up. All the nuts and bolts were turned by yours truly and very happy to be done in time for my first track day next weekend. On to pictures... Mani
Thanks all, appreciate the kind words. HardHat said: awesome mate! give us a list of what you changed / upgraded got any steering dampers? I left the factory steering damper which is electronically controlled based on speed. Nice and soft at low speeds and tighten up as the speed increase. Used to have a GPR V4 but didn't like it much. Great damper but little challenging at low speed tight turns since you have to set the damping and that is what you get all the time. Mod list: Ohlins R&T forks custom superbike valving and set for my weight with anti dive stack Ohlins PRXL rear shock custom valved and sprung for my weight Marchesini forged magnesium wheels 16.5" Full titanium HRC factory superbike exhaust build by Akrapovic Brembo RCS master cylinder adjustable between 18 & 20mm Brembo fluid reservoir and mounting kit Carbon brake pads Galfer braided superbike brake lines ASV sortie lever on the clutch side Dunlop racing slicks medium back and soft front Woodcraft 55mm clipons Woodcraft sliders 520 chain and sprocket geared down for better acceleration out of corners Sharksinz racing bodywork with custom paint and decals Vortex adjustable racing rearset K&N filters PCIII USB fuel management unit Modified front sprocket cover for quick sprocket changes Zero Gravity GP bubble windscreen [on it's way] I think that covers pretty much everything. Thanks Ripper. I got lackey in that there are few really good suspension guys near my place. The guy who worked on my suspension used to work on factory race bikes so he knows this stuff inside out. Incidentally, his real name is Stig
