I visited said work shop this morning and met one of the old workers who was their during the time they did that modification according to him the modified Vehicles what you refer are not done any more by them. To identify said vehicles (1) rear spring if they use old ones you can.(2) Rear spring bracket which is fixed to the chassis if it is made in Srilanka can notice it is made here.

If original brackets and new set of springs are used it is very difficult to identify of those modified Vehicles.Body rear wheel arch is modified like original way with spot welding all joints are filled original paste.
