Best Korean Car

Out of the Hyundai Sonata, Elantra, Accent and the Kia Mentor, Spectra and Rio which make and model is better in price , resale, performance and spare parts.

Hyundai just overtook Ford as the 4th largest auto manufacturer. I think the times we looked down on Korean cars are soon to be over...

How about the Hyundai Sonata. i see a few sonatas going for a lower price.

Is there any particular reason. Also do you have to pay luxary tax for the sonata because its a 2000cc engine car.

What about the kia Rio, Spectra and the mentor (hatchback).

Are they good cars as well.

A relative of mine owned a Daewoo Nubira, it was comfy, ok car. But when it was up for sale, resale value was really bad

for some reason the sonata has the worse re sale value.. think the accent is ur best bet..

no offence on your perception, but considering all the parameters including re-sale and spare parts, accent is a better bet than elantra. Just have a count on elantra's and Accent you see on the road. even some government departments bought Accents in bulks few years back.

I'd go with the sonata...great value for money...the accent is ok,but a bit soul-less,in my humble opinion.

BTW If your considering going for korean,why not consider malaysian aswell...Particularly the Proton Gen2 which I hear is a very good car.

How are they comparable and which Kia model is best.

Sonata is a good car, i guess the bigger engine might be a reason for a low resale value.

What are your opinions and any one with experience with these models.

I was checking out some of them and was wondering if any one has any experience with this model.

Does it do well on performance and what would be the ideal market price to pay for one.
