How much would be the tax rate (roughly) if I want to import a Mitsubishi Evolution (YOM 2005) to Sri Lanka. Even a roughly estimated rate would be helpful.

I dont know if you could import it to begin with since its a 2005. If im not wrong you can only import motor cars which were manufactured on a window of 3 years back from present year and 5 years for Jeeps, Vans, Dual purpose. Correct me if im wrong. Or else a rough estimate would be around 300-400%.

yup, as I heard, 3.5 years from YOM. And 4xx% something as tax off CIF (Cost in full)

yes machang.. pretty much... sad isnt it,.. why dont u go for a convert.. buy a decent NA mitsubishi.. bring the conversion down... and vola... evo.......
