Bugatti is out of the country I believe

I personally can't confirm on the fuel but defa no issues on the VVTi gear box such as the CVT - U need a specific oil which is a tad bit expensive overall an excellent car with good performance and handling. Fuel should be around the 10 to 11 but can't say for sure.

I've got the BJ5W with a VVTi engine and manual transmission... I've done a few mods on the air intake, exhaust and fuel pressure, hence the fuel economy cannot be compared.

But, the trip-tronic does 9.5 + km/l.... one point to note is that the ATF on the triptronic needs to be changed every 25,000 to 30,000 kms... It's a smooth ride.

a test drive can be arranged, if needed...

I live in Nugegoda.. there are couple of Silver ones. mines a Titanium Grey. Painted it recently and changed the color to a darker shade (Mazda color code) from what it was.

yes, it said to put out 130, but no way of measuring. The mods are listed on my profile.

I used a BJ5P VVT tiptronic for more than four years. Never had big issues except for the fuel economy (8-8.5KmL Colombo traffic). I think that was becuase my one was a sports tuned (grade RS).

8 - 8.5 km/l seems alright. I get about the same, and some time 9 km/l. All depends on the shifting point.

No really...!

Both the Corolla 121 and Vios are 1500cc with VVTi engines... compare the power and fuel economy with that of a 1500cc VVTi Mazda.... go with manufacturer specification as listed on-line. You can clearly see the difference.

Hi,

I don't know whether this would help, but mine is a 1996 Mazda BG3P (1300 CC), and it does around 11-11.5 in Colombo. :angry-smiley-048:

And does anyone know a good place to tune my car? I think fuel consumption can be improved a bit more since I felt like it emits little amount of Carbon.

Hi Friend,

I have a BJ5W hatch VVTi 1.5 front disk, Triptronic. It does maximum 7.5kmpl in traffic and 9-10max outstation. It is a lovely car to drive but the fuel consumption still bothers me (even though my company pays for my petrol :)

i think its the Normal fuel consumption of BJ5W :)

Not really.... mine has given me 9 km/l in Colombo..

Fuel figures depend on the condition of the car and the way it is driven.
