Import Car From Uk To Lanka

Dear Friends,

I am new to this forum. My uncle lives in UK. Is it possible to import a used car from UK to Sri lanka?. If possible, what are the importing rules enforced in Lanka.

1. What is the age of the vehicle we can import?

2. If the vehicle is around 1M LKR there, how much tax will be imposed here.

Pls assist, as I am new to this forum.......

If I buy vehicle from UK for $ 19816.00, how much should I pay for Export tax, handling charges, vehicle inspection charges and other paper works?

Can you please explain, if you have any experience about Import vehicle form UK?
