0 SeanD
Who repaired it? Seems like they may have messed up the electricals of the car. 2000rpm is way too high for AC Edited September 22, 2010 by SeanD

Any help highly appreciated there is an AC idle up valve in most systems and chances are your repair guy hadn't fixed it properly or haven't adjusted it right. quite and easy fix. i'd suggest you take it to the same chap and ask him to sort it out for you. 0 MasterDon
If you put your foot behind the accelarator peddle(when idle) and then pull it toward you ,then if the RPM drops,it might be problem with the accelarator cable or the throttle position sensor on newer cars. On a funny side, you can get the same effect if you pull the choke while driving (old model car.
