Mazda Demio Model 1998 - 2002

Hey guys .... I'm planning to buy a car of hatch back type. My budget is 1.4 mill. Some of my selected models are as follows. Of those selection, I feel like Mazda Demio will give a good value for money. Please give your feedback.

1. Toyota Starlet EP91 (Reflet, Carat) 96/97/98

2. Toyota Starlet NP 90 (Little bit expensive; perhaps will be beyond my budget)

3. Daihatsu Mira/ Charade

4. Mazda Demio

I would also like to know about the maintainable cost, fuel efficiency and market value of Mazda Demio ...

I have been using a Mazda Demio for 6 years. It's Mazda demio 5 door hatchback 2001 model, Automatic transmission. It's almost a good car, I changed CV joints one year back..that's all & servicing in each 5000km & ATF changed in each 40000km. In performance like pickup, speeding non of other hatchbacks can compare with demios.

It does around 10km per L in city limit with good speed. Parts also available.(Not that much expensive)

Dear Friend,

Starlet is one of the best vehicle in this class. It has good pulling power and economical. Maintenence also is not very much expensive. But only thing is latest models are very expensive these days. Most of peoples quote around 1.6 million for Y.O.M.1999 reflect F/O cars.

in this respect I feel it is better to go for a newest Demio for 1.5 million.

Out 14 km/Lt

in car dealers total price comes around 29+ mil..

not sure about the tax though.. it should be around 13-14 laks I guess
