Toyota - Registered

1. Corolla 121

2. Vios (Around 2.5)

Toyota - Unregistered

1. Try Belta 1300

Nissan- Unregistered

1. Tida

Honda - Unregistered

1. Fit Aria

if you had a car and sold it, you should have a better idea on what your N16 failed to satisfy your requirements. So you should be able to realize what requirements you have for a new car :)

Dont you think?

If u'r looking for a good car u should reduce u'r budget to about 1.5mill and go for a a33 or H-matic

Cause the cars in the 2.5-3mill budget (vitz,belta,vios,121,demio,fit) are worse than them and what u had.

Go for Tiida, CVT model (One with teak interior).

Good Pickup.

Good fuel efficiency. ( City 10, Outstation 14.5 )

Very comfortable with ample legroom and headroom.

However not many people like its appearance.

Dunno about the second hand value.

Honda Civic ES 8 (Manual) might be the best one. Good looking, economical, good second hand market. But I like EK3 Civic than ES8 (Though its cheaper dan ur budget).

Why doesn't anyone ever mention the Axela? I'm sure you can find a good one for that budget. It looks great, much better looking than most of the cars suggested here imo, and it's a Mazda!

You can even get an unregistered Demio for that price I figure. Personally, I think it's the best looking hatch around these days. Although, that Honda Fit is quite snazzy as well.

I wonder I would buy Nissan Presea :D

Good suggestion. Value to money. But I have heard maintenance cost is bit high. (Expensive parts)

Any idea?

My 2005 Vios (manual) does

10.5 km/l heavey traffic

12.5 km/l moderate traffic

16 km/l outstation (4th & 5th gear)

No major repairs yet; spare parts are readily available; very common 1NZ-FE Engine; good second hand market

I also cannot understand why people shun Mazda's so much ....

Then again, fuel consumption and maintenance cost are not factors to me and my setup, but for newer cars they are not so much factors for anyone! <_<

For me, registered Axela, ES8 or an Imprezza (at a slightly lower cost) are the best options in this price range.

Unregistered - Demio or even the new Mazda 2 sedan (effectively a Demio with a butt) are good options.

Read My Previous comment again. If you are in a position of what u mentioned above,

those are very good vehicles.

Axela fuel economy might be normal as most modern cars, Toyota even which have the same specification

(Engine Cap. etc.)

So worth to money..

sounds gd. What would be the price of 2005 vios?

automatic vios sucks..manual one could be much better..but if you like city/ fit aria i hope it would be a better choice than vios. if fuel consumption is your major expectation you will not regret with FIT!

Hey Jami, finally you came onto this thread, the OP has been waiting the last 9 months without buying anything waiting for your go-ahead. Thanks buddy

OK OP, finally you can go buy that car, or have the prices changed? Damn....you better just PM Jami instead next time.
