This is is a long term conspiracy by certain officials and government politicians. They are in a process of cutting intake of local students to state universities in high courses such as Medicine, Engineering and Sciences, very silently in recent years by reserving foreign countries students a quota (when nobody came, corrupted UGC closed the chapter without filling those with countryman's children- 2010 intake). In that way they were able to cut the amount to 1% plus,The the reason is the making a future, make high office in this country for idiot sons of privileged politicians and related officials by creating private institutions here. Since we Sri Lankans are stupids, this can be done. We are the very same people/parents who thought so called star socialism in 50s,60s implementing a world class imperialism today, helping to break education system in this country. Isn't it ?.Nobody can deny that fact ! Where are the children of poor people at that time? Are they rich enough to talk imperialism today ?.

Always use OEM or genuine ball joints . After market ball joints lead to misalignments and you cannot attain successful results in alignments.

Yes, Gas shocks somtimes give bumpy feelings at low speeds , but stable at high speeds. Oil shocks are more comfortable specially at low speeds, however short live.

High Octane levels other than the manufacturer recommended levels lead to more carbon deposits in engines. Since Gasolines rated in 91 & 95 available in Sri Lanka ,what is the purpose of putting octane boosters unless the manufacturer states & recommend 97 or 98 ?. Is it go race in public roads expecting low span engine life time ? Most of the people use these to get more pick up when their engines are not optimum, such as not tuned, ignition & injectors/carb give problems, when under compressions are present etc.

Topic's Nano is Nano (n) paint protection by D*MO. Who diverted it to Tata Nano ? I don't know !. Must read news papers . There was an artiicle about this n-protection few weeks back.

Emission Test Failed, High Co Level In 5A-Fe Engine
Rohnd replied to djpra123's question in Mechanical problems
Rich mixtures normally give high CO contents. Have you said that you have changed the Ait Filter which is the main culprit of rich mixtures ?. The Water dropout from the exaust does not make any sense other than your engine is running at cool without any miss (as you/driver feel). -
Chandadasa needs elections even one day before his/her death to qualify corrupted politicos . It is his augmented desire election by election. We can see this time. Ohers will have to go out packing suitcases. Don't bother 20th Dec will be coming soon. All will be finished.
-
Glad to hear you released from the problem. Very good 0.26% against 4.5% CO. However we follow levels used in England 22 years back. We need something to tax,so we still follow rules than the norms. For newest cars it is 0% , at the exaust.

Hope that the correct cleaning has not been performed. However if you are satisfied with the answering (ie; RPM is changing/the engine vibrating/stalls etc, within limits when adjusting ) of idle air/fuel mixture adjustment, You may try the emission test again. but keep in mind that correct idle CO measure can only be obtained for this adjustment with a CO meter in a well equipped workshop,
-
1. You said removed and cleaned the carb - does it mean clean the carb using a repair kit or just the outside/inside cleaning. The latter won't give expected results sometimes, 4. Adjusted Idle circuit - Do you mean Idle Air/fuel ratio adjustment or just the idle speed adjustment . The latter won't give a solution to your problem. If you did carb clean up using a repair kit and if the idle air/fuel ratio adjustment is answerable , you may have attained the solution.

The PCV valve is usually fitted on the crank case cover which links to carb/inlet manifold. A good carb mechanic should be able to solve the issue,

In Carburator engines the causes of excessive CO at idle speed are (if the CO @ 2500 rpm OK) 1. Idle adjustment not answering to variable positioning of related screw. Cause - Related passages are blocked due to contaminations. Remedy - Clean up the Carburator 2. PCV system malfunctioning. Causes - PCV Valve not functioning, Attached tubes leak. Remedy: Check and repalce above. Other general tune-ups wont help in this regard.

Comparing Mazda3 and Axio is not suitable for this thread since it began on the topic,' Is Axio really a good car' . There are so many common cars other than Mazda3 ,such as Honda Civic & Nissan Sunny if comparing. 0 to 60 or 100 Km accelaration is not a suitable factor and inappropriate to discuss on every day cars other than the racing cars, since there are so many features to discuss. For the Mazda 3 , issue (M3s made in 2004 to 2008) on accelaration is not a Mazda cronic issue and a well understood issue related to MAF Sensor design , in some countries, third party MAF sensors have been designed to overcome this factor. This issue can be avoided somewhat by changing the kicking pattern of the accelerator pedal by the driver. Let us discuss on the topic. Say something about driveability/stability at high speed, suspension, options, interior quality , fuel consumption, comfort of the Toyota Axio etc

What is the purpse of talking/Quoting Morris Minor SU carburator ( was a basic in 1950s) here while Malinda7 clearly stated his problem & his car ?. Malinda Best way to do is rebuild or repair existing Carburator as Scooter stated since other car's formula will not match to your vehicle.

I too do not believe that kmcsb's problems associated with the oil you used, EG8 is a fairly old car ,15W-40 oil would be sufficient (besides ambient temperatures of Sri Lanka)

Thanks Scooter, You are on the correct track. That is why I mentioned 'will this be a success' !. This is not the first time. Many manufacturers put forward effort to develop all electric cars in the history specially in US,because the whole world has to face the end of fuel fossil problem in the future,The Zero emission is a scondary factor. Early efforts have not been commercially sucsess yet, in this regard . Still doubt and believe that the world may have a different solution other than all electric vehicle. There are some differences I see in Mazda Demio example. 1. They have incorporated it to an existing platform so the the body weight, feeling to passengers, comfort etc still there. 2. When we see the specifications mentioned, the power output/torque equivalent to a it's fuel class vehicle so the vehicle guts you mentioned will not be appeared. 3. Other harassment is still there with 200 Km , the charging cycle. If it is at least 400Km,would be fine.

Mazda Japan in communique today(6/7/2012) announced it's new electric vehicle Demio EV on Demio (Mazda2) platform which will be available in October 2012. It is not a Hybrid ,but all electric, powered by a LI-ION Battery pack which has a driving range of 200km. The power output has been suggested to 75Kw (>5200 rpm) and torque of 150Nm at 0-2800 rpm.The suggested price in Japan in Yen (including Tax) is 3,577,000 , to be issued on lease to corporate custormers in western Japan first. Will it be successful ! We will see !.

Car-Mar* showed very poor show. May be due to very old day management thinking. KIA and Mazda have a relationship which runs from 1960s. (Mazda played a role in design very first KIAs). We cannot comment on new agent, Will see (Another Carmar* ?)

Correct. However they re-do the seats/upholstery there according to the Singapore regulations. The Fabrics are not allowed in that country and Rexene/Leather formulated, This may be incorrectly understood as assembled.
-
Our Mazda 323 /Familias were built in Japan, However some versions assembled outside Japan not came to Sri Lanka, These assemblies went on parallel to Japaanese productions. Singapore was not in Mazda production lines/assemblies. Some of the 323 Versions built in other countries with different names outside Japan, after the Japanese productions ended in Japan. Examples are Sao Penza built in South Africa based on Mazda BF platform .Isamu Genki of Taiwan and Haima Family 2 of China both were based on Mazda BJ platform. Some of these versions still manufacture.

CleaN Pa** is not a honest place better to avoid this place. No need to contact owners. They are in disguise mode think they are the best and 1st class in technology. But today they are outdated and dishonest too.

Exactly what jdnet said is corret. These type of repairs are only recommended if the windscreens are not available.
-
These windcreens are not good. Will not give correct vision at nights with the glare of other vehicles. Use used genuine windscreens that may cost around 15K to 20k which are available in used parts shops.

Quote : but in most of times water comes out from the silencer. ??? Water in the silencer does not show a good sign always. The Water is a by product of internal combustion. At the first few minutes it appear as water ,when the engine temperature /exaust pipe temperature rises it vanishes and appear as steam which is not visible. In cold countries and cold environments, you can see condensed steams again appear near silencer end as a smoke, but it is still water in another form. The Engines running at high fuel ratios (A faulty condition - cooler engine) also attribute water in the silencer for prolong periods. Then how can anybody say, it is correctly tuned engine?. This is a wrongly understood factor ! Sammycajer : Overhaul and clean your carb. See the conditions of ignition leads too.

Why ? They already have business, so they have so called Duty Free facilities. They also have pensions after 5 years. One and only Politicians in the world.!!!!. Chandadasa only receives Rs: 1000+ increment for the inflation caused by same animals. but say enough!!
