    Are you loosing engine oil? if so, you may have a oil burning prob from the head. I've seen comlete overhauls done on your model with 60.000km due to your symptoms. TT.

    Nice car 17 years ago,.. :Might want to check the maintenance history if it has any. ATF changes for auto boxes, T-belt changes for both pet/die engines.

    You might wanna take this chance to inspect your rad hoses and clips + the pressure cap. And makesure you get a 82'c opening temp thermostat. TT.

    Change the air filter, spark plugs and the ATF. At lest you car should run more efficiently with these changes. TT.

    Powerful chemical cleaners used in cleaning engine bays and under carrages cause problems later on. for ex , alternators get shorted out as the coil within looses it's insulation. Good luck. TT.

    It's possible you have had a leak in your a/c system by your discription. and the compressor is not working as a result. Start diagnosys by taking the car to an a/c workshop to do a pressure test to confirm . TT.

    I got a car with a leaky power steering pump which damaged the lower rad hose thus needing it to be replased. TT.

    Staet with getting a new air filter Change the plugs. Change the ATF.

    Welcome , You' re getting the last of the best Paj's,. If you get a diesel, it's possible to get ok fuel milage with a manual. Good luck,.. TT.

    Any idea of the maintainance history of the car? if the answer is nothing, start with a trans fluid change with filtter. get your gearbox and engine mounts checked. Good luck.

    Loose alternator belt? if belt is ok, bestvget a replacement alternator as your unit has all system components like the regulator built in.

    A controversial sub, engine oils' have many viscosities as there are openions. Take into account .the recommend oil for our operating conditions. TT.
