  2. Machan he couldn't say like that because speed was only 68 km/hr.
  3. Godakawela, Pallebedda area is really rural and definetly speed limit should be 70km/hr unless otherwise it is stated. You get a ticket by driving at 68 speed is really absurd.Acutually no use of arguing with idiots because their mad decreesion is the final. I have touched 120 on that road and thanx for god for no cops on the way.

  11. Don't publish the date and the venue, some cops might aware and put road blocks . Otherwise bring a couple of bed sheets to sleep on the spot and leave on the following morning
  12. All the aspects can't be fulfilled with one car, If you are really concerned about the fuel, might as well you may go for a four stroke three wheel car. Only thing is after riding 150km , You may require some balms or some sort of pain killers to apply on your spinal cord area.
  13. Where is the car?

    How Is Nissan Fb15

My car was a manual gear one(Ek3) and Y.O.M.1996 brand new and the agent maintained right through out.. Normally I am not a slow driver but I confirms It did average 13 km/lt out station when I drove to Anuradapura etc etc. My new one is ES1 auto and does only 12 km/Lt average at out station.
  17. Dear Brother, It is just a option. When you order for a brand new one , You have to pay little more to have gold badges. That's it.
  18. Is the problem sorted out? jagath

    How Is Nissan Fb15

Who says that Ek3 sucks fuel? I have used a Ek3 for 3 years (Run about 80000km) beleive me It did 13 km/lt out station and of course it depends in city according to the traffic congestion. It is a very good car and did not give any major problem to me for 3 years period. Even I would like to recomend Ek3 more than Es1 as far as the comfortabiltyand manurability are concerened.
  20. Dear Bro, Doing 10-12 km/ltr is a good result. You never expect a 1.5cc car to do more than this. Maruti also does about 17km/lt out staion according to one of my relations. I had a VT 250 Honda mo bic some time back. It also did only 30km/lt out station.

Nilantha has never said that Nissan is bad. What he has told is not to buy. That's it.
  22. Timing belt is used not only because of it is cheaper. It emits low sound.

    Clutch/gear Problem

Chack the master pump. You may have to put the repair kit of the master pump.Go to a experience technecian and get the system checked carefully.
  24. Since the car goes at 18 km/h speed at kadugannawa hill mean that can't be a gear box problem. You better check the RPM at 18 km speed and the RPM at the flat land 80 km/H speed. If the RPM tally with the speed definitly problem is at the engine. Engine could be under compression or diesl injectors might have chalked.
  25. As far as back up service and fuel efficeny are concerned, It is better to go for a Honda. You may find a EK3 Civic Y.O.M. 1997/98 with in your budjet probably. Wish you to have a well maintained car and enjoy.
