Hola, With regard to handling & fuel consumption: - The ES3 RS is really good, but of course this can be argued. - The fuel consumption, running to Colombo-Negombo/Negombo-Colombo with AC on & High Revs is 11.83Km per Litre (in my RS). *** This is through first-hand experience I'm stating facts abt a RS; and having driven a CGT (both 210 & 212) AND a VZ-R... handling-wise, Honda's right up-there! My 2cents on this is: ...if it's PERFORMANCE your pal's looking for; hands down go with the CGT(with a more superlative price pls ) cos a bone-stock SOHC RS cant keep up with the CGT, unless of course it's given a special treatment ...having had said that, I'd say go with the ES3 RS, for reasoanble performance, better fuel efficiency, good looks (can be argued) and a waaaaaaaaaaaay better re-sale value! Pls let us know what your mate finally decided on!!!

Machang Hola, With the the vehicle duty going up by 12% on the 18.09.06', the prices will no doubt vary again. 2.5Mil for a CGT (2nd hand) is a bit too much. But given the fact that its a 6speed (4AGE 212) hmmm its a tough call mate....its a nice car and if I'm correct this version mostly came with Automatic gearboxes...since its a manual....should be a sweet ride.Tell your pal to work and get the most superlative price cos @ e end of the day, its HE, who should be happy with his investment!!!

There's a BOI project thats to be implemnted soon machang (WORLD CLASS TAXIs) ...right now they are collecting quotations for cars both below & above 2000cc. It should be a treat to have a comic reliefe if we were to see a super duper high-end premium car dressed in cab vinyl!!!

See machang, it's like this...they quote a price, and that looks really attractive...but the catch is: there is a 20% VAT involved which in most cases will not be added...I know this because I'm one such culprit !!!

That my friend...er...is a tough call machang...personally i'm going with the STi...the rush and the thrill you get is much more and is a much more fun car to drive...wonder what the other's take on this is ....

Oh yeah...forgot abt the weight aspect, the WRX/WRX: STi 's have a somewhat beter power-to-weight-ratio than the RSK 's in term of quickness

Not really machang...not all prices are quoted WITH taxes...

Functionality & Comfort levels for sure will be more in the RSK machang...(ex: Leather seats)...with regard to power, the RSK due to the Twin turbo will out do a WRX/WRX:STi on top speeds...but from point A2B and B2C the: power/speed/quickness on the Scoobies are just off tha "ying yang"...

Machang 18.25, is this WITH taxes? if so, then yes it IS a rip-off...
