well the standards they use are standards that the more moderen world used prior to the introduction of the CAT. so u should be ok.. i passed with no CAT, and a straight through exhaust.... and the car is a 1990.

oh no.. man never intended it that way.. i was really curious to know how it was fitted if u did fit it.. because there are BOV's which just produce the sound u know... no worries u can learn a lot from the folks here... anyhooo... think u shh shh sound is coming when the air is sucked in from the air filter.. is it a cone filter or standard.. because if its cone it will defa make that sound.... a CK2 can be done up nicely man.. plenty of turbos there for it too..

go for it mate... think no one is gonna think ill of you if u put them in civics..... its JUST The right thing to do. ... but a word of warning.. those neon tubes will break if u hit a big pavement... so make sure you get a good set and that u dont go in rough terrain after installing them...

looks like eg8 is for you.. as people have mentioned most are done very badly.. my opinion is go for a VTEc stock one.. if u can find one that is.. bargain.. and use the remainder of ur money on doing it up ur way...

havent heard of anyting such as that coming in as an orignal sensor mate.. however, think it will be a pretty easy thing to fix with an aftermarket temprature gauge..
