  1. This is something I always say,and that is the Accent and Rio are the best bang for buck cars you can buy these days.
  2. The Ceres/Marinos are fast becoming rare cars, please don't rape yours
  3. No idea, but it's a sound most Toyotas make, including the Vios, 121 and 141 Axio. Not sure about the ROW 141, but I'm betting it does too.
  4. The additional groove is actually formed by an extra piece of steel welded into the wheel arch. This is to offset the unsightly gap that would be apparent when the regular wide 10" wheels are fitted to it. The rear suspension is also setup for 10" wheels, rather than 13", so I suspect there will be handling issues a regular Townace won't see. The smaller tires allow for a flat floor. In retrospect, the floor/ceiling height is actually lower than the regular version, but the advantage is that the flat floor can accept standard sized cargo pallets, which is the whole point of the exercise.
  5. The mechanical sound is the ABS pump going through the POST routine, followed by the ABS light extinguishing if all is well.
  6. That's right.
  7. I see one of these every day. It's been slightly molested though, but still.
  8. That's the RR Corniche Drophead owned by the late doctor isn't it?
  9. Oh this! My vote still stands though. I wasn't aware there was a thread dedicated to this, this too was in the classifieds.
  10. I just voted for the Red Vios. That car truly deserves recognition.
  11. So it looks like I didn't miss much this time around, and a friend recorded the East European ladies and all their splendor in HD.
  12. stop inhaling exhaust fumes.
  13. I heard it was by attempting to make their cars plug-in hybrids while having their fist shoved up their asses and a large jumper cable hooked up to the mains.
  14. 90 has gone up by 10 bucks, according to Adaderana http://adaderana.lk/news.php?nid=20916
  15. Petrol up by 10 bucks? Anyone know of this?

  16. Hear hear! We bought two Chinese TVs late last year, 22" LCD and 32" with LED backlight and they've been working flawlessly. The 32 is used for only cable tv, and soemtimes for xbox if the laptop is using the docking station, so it doesn't see much use, but the 22" is pretty much switched on throughout the day. And it's not only used for video, my dad uses it to play Pirith and Bana as well. And the cat has knocked it over twice so far.
  17. How you people find the time to watch tv is beyond me My tv only gets switched on during the weekend.
  18. There is always a light jerk in the cheaper cars. My Vios actually lurches forward when I shift into D with only a light foot on the brakes. The jerk is the different oil circuits re-pressurizing after passing Neutral/Park. That's why you don't get a jerk when shifting from D to 3 or 2 whatever other forward gears you have. The system is already under pressure.
  19. He means cooling of the batteries, not the passengers. The NiMh batteries and the inverter have their own cooling system. But yeah, next time take a moment to understand the written word before posting a question about it.
  20. Like in the same way certain 504s and Holden Statesmans were brought in?
  21. If you look closely it's got a wide body kit installed. The rear end is probably part of that, it's all removable anyway.
  22. Unless he's talking about coilovers.
  23. I spoke to dialog, and they said not to attempt cutting the sim. They said they'll provide me with a microsim FOC, for corporate users.

Oh yeah it works, but there are some forums which resize the page to fit the width of the tablet perfectly, so there is no horizontal scrolling nrequired. Tabs used are Asus TF101 and Ainol Novo 7 Crystal.

  25. And this signals my return to Lego after a hiatus of 3 years most of my adult life. http://jalopnik.com/5965432/a-lego-technic-pagani-zonda-is-as-awesome-as-it-sounds?utm_campaign=socialflow_jalopnik_facebook&utm_source=jalopnik_facebook&utm_medium=socialflow
