I think its kind of funny that u think America didnt land on the moon. I have seen the space shuttle in person, watched many launches, toured the space center and even driven a moon rover. But u are entitled to ur opinion. I think even though the country is full of immigrants it still can be given credit for being a great nation due to the fact that most of the education, facilites, and means are provided by the nation. I think there is a warped view that when some one says America that it means white america but thats not really true. This coming up election there is a women running for president and a black and they both have good chances of wining. BTw I dont think that the video is indication of the general population. I think Borats movie is a better indication of the US population..lol

I have to admit that Americans are pretty bad at geography, but to their credit they did go to the moon first invent the internet and so on and so forth. I guess no one is perfect...lol

Hi euro_auto thanks for the write up. and welcome. 4 mill for a crashed boxster sounds steep. I am surprised none of the proshes have made it to the current auto racing scene in SL. I am looking into a boxster my self as a track day car.

Have to give BMW props for starting the whole thing. Audi's comback was kinda lame. and i think this is fake because audi's ad said 6 wins from lemans 2000-2006 which is actually 7 and I dont think they would have made such a mistake. from living in colombo I know the traffic is too much, however if our country wants grow and prosper we need transportation. Take a lesson from the romans who devloped the first highways. It is not fair to only allow the rich to own cars. You have to think is this gov retarded? Newer cars are more expensive than older cars and there for more money would leave our economy. Instead of limiting the age of the car the gov. should increase vat on older cars. The gov would still make money! I am not saying to increase the vat on older cars so that the price is equal to a new car. But increase it so that the average person can buy a used car and lower the vat on new cars so that people will favor new cars. I think they should let the people decide what they want.

I forgot to metion that I would perfer a Rear wheel drive car and in manual. The program is a 4 day track session through the BMW club of North America. They rent out the whole ring and give you instructors and car. To my understanding the car is a BMW Z4 coupe. Its also one of my dreams to and they request that you have a little experience before hand so the ring is more fun than "scary". I have been looking online and all I can find are front wheel drive compacts. I think I will end up with Hiace, thoese are rear wheel drive. And I want to do a few laps on it while Im in SL. Hopefully I can get some practice before I hit the Nurburg Ring in Aug. Thanks for ur help

I have two dells and just bought my first MAC. I must say mac computers are a generation ahead of PCs. The only down side is the avalability of software. Dell is much cheaper than Mac, but u do get what u pay for. If I were buying a PC based computer I would get the sony vaio. I really dont understand why the black color is $250 more than the white. I think the white is better because I have a black ipod video and that thing is a magnet for finger prints. good luck

I have never been to that track but from what I have seen from pictures it is a ver nice track. I wish I could have done this because it is really cheap too. Only Rs300 /per lap. I did a track event at sebring in the US and it cost $300 (Rs30000) for about 20 laps.

The Rolex 24 is a great race because like the Lemans it comprises of 3 or 4 diffrent classes. All the way from the Daytona Prototypes to the almost street leagal 4 cylinders. I tried to email that guy for an FTP password but got no reply. anyways here are some more. there were some really nice cars in the parking lot too. more

Thanks to my friends at Lacs Motorsports I was able to get an all access pass the Rolex 24 hours. They let me into the restricted pits and garages and all teams. Here are some pics I have more if you guys want

it is going to be very hard to convert an M3 from left to right because of the fly-by-wire accelerator and forget about smg. Though I must admit it, its a nice car. lol.

Like I said I dont know about UK prices but here you can get a 2000 porsche boxster s for around 11,000 pounds and 2001 330ci is about 13,000 pounds.
